Petoskey Regional Center

Start here, Stay here, Succeed Here

LSSU’s Petoskey Regional Center offers a student-oriented approach to higher education. Our small class size, experienced faculty and the ability to pursue your educational dreams close to home are what the LSSU regional centers are all about. We are here for you – our students.

We are proud of the high-quality instruction we provide and of the personal attention that has always been a hallmark of the Lake Superior State University experience.

The LSSU Petoskey Regional Center is housed on the North Central Michigan College campus in Petoskey.  For assistance in planning your educational goals, stop by our office on that campus or schedule an appointment with the Regional Center Coordinator. We can help answer your academic questions in areas of admissions requirements, scholarship/financial aid, counseling, course selection and registration for classes.

“The LSSU Regional Center has been the reason I can continue college. After having a baby at the end of my senior year of high school I decided to attend North Central and get my associates without moving or going in debt, and I am now double majoring through Lake State without having to move or go in debt. I used to always be set on attending a four year college right out of high school, but since going through the regional center I recommend doing the same to anyone!”

One of my greatest joys in life is teaching leadership and law courses for Lake Superior State University. The small class sizes enable me to get to know the students professionally, and personally, and helps make the learning environment very collegial and fun. The students are very engaged in the learning process and I truly enjoy helping them develop as ethical, knowledgeable, leaders and business professionals.

“The program offered by LSSU to North Central students is a fantastic opportunity for me. It has allowed me to pursue my education goals while remaining close to home with my family and friends. On top of that, the costs associated with completing the program are much less than earning every credit directly from a university. “
